If I fire these rounds through that rifle and the suppressor, the round is probably going to speed up by about 15 FPS max (from what I've seen with velocity tests on suppressors), so the bullet will travel, initially, at 1,085 fps or around that range. Now that you have the opening data, on to the main question. Target plinking is not my thing other than honing the accuracy of the weapon for future hunting success. I generally want to use it for Sub 100 yd hunting and possibly 100-200 if at all possible. Money is not an issue with purchasing the rounds, but if anyone knows of a better "available" brand and type, my ears are open. 22 LR subsonic ammo to use, and came accross Lapua Center-X Ammunition 22 Long Rifle 40 Grain Lead Round Nose firing at a muzzle velocity of 1073 fps. I am thinking of buying a CZ 455 Varmint Tacticool Suppressor ready, along with a Sparrow 22 suppressor and a Barska 6-20x50 IR Tactical Scope (none of this is applicable to the question but just putting all information out). I've been searching for a day and half on you tube, forums for an answer to an ammo worry I'm having about some things I wish to buy upcoming.
